The Propionic Acidemia Foundation (PAF) and The Community Health Clinic (CHC) will be co-hosting PA Family Day on April 18, 2020 in northern Indiana in the heart of Indiana’s largest Amish community.   The focus for this family day is for attendees to learn more about propionic acidemia, including the genetics, medical management, and research. Families will have time to fellowship with one another and enjoy a meal together, as well as to interact with physicians who treat propionic acidemia and exhibitors.

The mission of PAF is to find improved treatments and a cure for Propionic Acidemia by funding research and providing information and support to families and medical professionals. To date, we have raised over $1.5m toward our mission and awarded over 30 research grants.  In 2018, the Warrior Wisdom Conference was attended by 100 people including 23 families.

In addition to the PAF family invitations, The CHC will invite the Amish families in their area. Our attendance expectation for this year is between 50 and 100 attendees.
